Janice Marie McConnell, 75, of Uhrichsville, formerly of New Philadelphia, Akron and Belpre, O., died Monday, October 31, 2005, at Twin City Hospital in Dennison.A daughter of the late Carl W. and Gladys M. Lawrence Warner, Janice was born June 25, 1930, in New Philadelphia, O.She enjoyed crocheting, bingo, reading and watching movies.She is survived by sons, Jim McRae, of Canton, David (Dianna) McConnell, of Dennison, Gerald (Patricia) McConnell, of New Philadelphia, and Paul D.(Peggy) McConnell, of Fresno, O.; daughter, Mrs. Charles “Lois” Mazzoleni, of Tuscarawas, sister, Judy Bader, of Sarasota, Fl.; grandchildren, David Allen Paul McConnell, Jesse Logan McRae, Debbie, Lisa, Cody, Andy, Barbie, Tommy, Scott, Mike and Marilyn McConnell, Toni Lynn Reidenbaugh, Allen Young, Roger and Chris Mazzoleni; and numerous great grandchildren.Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. McConnell, who died March 27, 1989. They were married September 19, 1964; her parents; an infant brother; a daughter, Julie Roberts; a son Robert McConnell; and a sister, Jean Hill.Visitation will be held Thursday, November, 3, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia, and Friday from 12:00 to 1 p.m. A Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Harry Milligan on Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Tippecanoe, O.
