Jane M. Russell

Jane M. Russell, 86, of Columbus and formerly of Brightwood, died Tuesday June 14, 2005, at the home of her daughter in Columbus.Born December 5, 1918 in Roswell to the late Jesse and Winifred (Day) McIntire, Jane was a life-long resident of Tuscarawas County. She graduated in 1936 from Midvale High School and married the late Delbert E. Russell in 1941.Surviving Jane are her sisters, Eileen Crites of Gnadenhutten and Irene Maurer of Dover; her children, Jane A. Russell of Columbus, Joyce Nagel of Salem, Oregon, Daniel Russell of Canton and Janet Russell of Columbus and their families.Friends and family are invited to call from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2005 at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. The Rev. Jerry Sullivan will conduct a memorial service and celebration of Jane’s life at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 24, 2005 at the First Christian Church (Disciples), 125 N. Uhrich St, Uhrichsville, OH 44683. A luncheon at the church will follow the service.Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church in Uhrichsville.
