Jane A. (Zorn) Reichman, 75, of New Philadelphia, passed away in Aultman Hospital at Canton on August 7, 2017.
Born in Dover on May 25, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Wanda Marie (Hollingsworth) Zorn. After graduating from Tuscarawas-Warwick High School, she married her lifelong companion, Lynn E. Reichman on May 5, 1963. Together, they were blessed with the birth of their son, Lynn Charles Reichman.
Jane was a devoted member of Sharon Moravian Church where she was very active, especially with the Women’s Fellowship, both locally and provincially. Jane also served numerous years in a variety of capacities with the Boy Scouts of America. Additionally, she loved her role as a cook at church camps, especially Tar Hollow.
Jane’s professional career began at her parents’ business, Hollingsworth and Zorn Greenhouse. She later spent 15 years working in Buehler’s Floral Shop at New Philadelphia.
In addition to her loving husband, Lynn, and her son, Lynn Charles; Jane will be deeply missed by her brother, Terry (Jane) Zorn; and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia on Friday from 4 to 7 pm. A service will be held Saturday beginning at 10:30 am in Sharon Moravian Church with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery.
Friends are invited back to the church fellowship hall following the committal service where her church family will host a luncheon.
