James Uher

James Uher, 68, of New Philadelphia, died February 9, 2007, at Country Club Retirement Campus, in Dover, Ohio.A son of the late Charles and Alverna Uher, James was born in Coshocton, Ohio, on November 3, 1938. Upon graduation in 1956 from Baltic High School, James entered the United States Navy and served his country until October 2, 1959. James worked as a tool and die engineer for the Jones Metal Products Company for 41 years and retired in 2002.James was a member of the First United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia. He enjoyed golf, woodworking, following sports especially football and golf, and especially enjoyed fishing with his grandkids.He is survived by his wife of 37 years Barbara Uher nee Cusano; children, Tina (Patrick) Morris of New Philadelphia, Chris (Jennifer) Varcolla of New Philadelphia, Annette (Reed) Bowers of Strasburg; grandchildren, Grant Morris, Anthony Varcolla, Sarah Varcolla; and a dear aunt, Twila Elder of Columbus, Ohio.Friends are invited to call Monday afternoon, February 12, 2007 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the Linn-Hert Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.The Rev.
