James R. Streets

James R. Streets, age 76, of Coshocton, passed away in Cleveland Clinic on Thursday, July 29, 2010.Born in Salineville, O. on June 15, 1934, he was the son of the late George and Nellie (Wheatly) Streets.After completing his formal education, James went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps. He then began his professional career as a supervisor, ultimately retiring from the former Steel Ceilings of Coshocton. Two of his hobbies included making hunting knives and collecting Civil War memorabilia. He will be deeply missed by his wife, the former Patricia C. Cramblett, whom he wed on October 13, 1956 in Coshocton; his daughter, Amy (Chris) Seward of New Philadelphia; his son, James (Danna) Streets of Coshocton; one nephew, Clee Streets of Coshocton; three granddaughters and one grandson; and eight great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Kolascky; and his brother, Warren Streets.Memorial contributions in James’ memory may be directed to the Coshocton County Animal Shelter, 21755 Township Road 164, Coshocton, O. 43812.No public calling hours or services have been scheduled. Cremation will take place through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.
