James P. Williams Jr., of Dellroy, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at his home and farm where he lived, worked and enjoyed life for most of his 82 years. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he went to sleep with a deep faith in God’s promise of a resurrection to a paradise earth where the meek will live forever.A son of the late James P. Williams Sr. and Gladys Ruth (Dolvin) Williams, James was born July 12, 1926 at Carroll County, Ohio.James leaves behind his devoted wife, Margaret (Bigg) Williams of the home; his children, Peggy (Bruce) Walker of Carrollton, Brian (Beth) Williams, Ryan (Tammy) Williams and Amy Graham all of Dellroy; his step children, Cindy (Mike) Espenschied and Debbie (John) Dorward both of Canton and Jeannie (James) Spencer of Harlem Springs; a step son-in-law, Denny Fink of Canton; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and two sisters, Ruth McNutt of Carrollton and Violet (Parker) Allen of Dover.He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Jane A. Williams; an infant son; a step daughter, Dee Dee Fink and a sister, Gladys Shaner.A memorial service celebrating James’ life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Harold Grover officiating.
