James A. Naus

James A. Naus, age 79, of Massillon, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, in his residence following an extended illness.A son of the late Charles Edward and Fannie Ruth Barkheimer Naus, James was born on September 28, 1928, at Bolivar.James was a 1947 graduate of Mineral City High School and later served his country in the Korean War.For over forty years, James was a self-employed plumber.James married the former Betty McKinney on April 24, 1954, and together the couple co-managed apartments following James’ retirement as a plumber.Surviving are his wife, Betty; a son, Charles (Connie) Naus of Dalton, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Naus.In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. The family will hold private services at a later date. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn NW, Canton, Ohio 44708.
