Jacquelyn Thompson

Jacquelyn Elizabeth Thompson, 81, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully in Park Village Healthcare Center at Dover on September 12, 2024.

Born in Cleveland on January 27, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Harry M. and Luella T. (Byers) Frownfelter.

Earlier in life, Jackie and her late husband, Dick, lived and worked in Florida. She always loved the lifestyle of southern Florida. Her and Dick moved back to Ohio to raise their daughter, Kate. Jackie loved all animals and rescued many whippets later in life. She was also an avid gardener and loved flowers. 

Jackie is survived by her daughter, Kathryn “Kate” Thompson of Dover; sisters, Joy (Dennis) Fazenbaker and Jill (Bill) Seibold, both of New Philadelphia; aunt, Betty Weber of New Philadelphia; and several nieces and a nephew.

No public visitation or services are scheduled.
