Jacquelyn Jane Phipps, age 76, of Columbus and formerly of New Philadelphia, was received into heaven on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.Jackie was born on August 16, 1932, to two very loving parents, the late Simon and Jane (Mitchell) Kinsey. It was Simon and Jane, who reared Jackie in a way that taught her dignity, love, honor and respect. Throughout her life Jackie remembered these life lessons and would not only use them in her own life but would eventually share them and express their importance with her own children and grandchildren. She was a woman of deep faith and prayer. She was very proud that she had raised her children to share these beliefs.Jackie attended Miami University and trained to become a Laboratory Technician. She served in the medical field, for which she had great respect, throughout her career. Jackie had a strong work ethic and believed in the importance of education. She dedicated herself to supporting and encouraging her children in their educational and career goals.Her life was blessed with the love of her family and the special bond shared between life-long friends.Jackie is honored and adored by her three children, Cassandra Gibbons, Paul Cody (Julie) Phipps, and Timberly (Dana) Williams and seven grandchildren, Katelyn and Madelyn Gibbons, Alexia, Paul, John and Kallie Phipps, and Gustin Williams.She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, sister, Kathryn (John) Fletcher; niece, Debbie (Russ) McGlothlin and family; nephew, Jeff (Becki) Reiser and family; cousins and many dear friends.In keeping with Jackie’s wishes, her body has been cremated through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. The family will receive guests on Saturday, September 13, 2008, from 10:30am â?? Noon in the funeral home’s chapel. Reverend James Long will lead a memorial celebration in honor of Jackie’s life beginning at Noon. Immediately following the service, the family would like to invite guests to join them in the Geib Family Center, adjacent to the funeral home, for a time of food and fellowship.Donations in Jackie’s memory may be made to either the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, P.O.
