Jack Garrison

Jack C. Garrison, age 87, of Beach City, passed away in his home on January 11, 2020.

Born in West Virginia on November 26, 1932, he was the son of the late John and Beatrice Garrison. After graduating from high school, Jack served his country in the United States Navy. His professional career spanned numerous years with General Tire and Rubber in Akron.

Jack is survived by his wife, Denna Hibbitts Garrison; his son, Michael (Katy) Garrison and their children, Michael Garrison II and Kayla Garrison; sister, Sylvia Spragg; step-children, Michael Berndt, Sr. and his children Callie Berndt and Michael Berndt, Jr. and Jenny (Todd) Montague; former wife, Ethel Garrison; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in passing by his brother, Kenneth Garrison.

Visitation will be held in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 10 to 11 a.m. A service will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Cremation will be cared for following the service through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.

Memorial contributions in Jack’s memory may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 156 Poplar St., Bolivar, OH 44612.
