Isabelle M. Ott, 90, of 6426 King Rd., Stonecreek, died Tuesday, December 24, 2002, at 10:50 PM in Morning View Care Center at New Philadelphia after an extended illness. Born November 12, 1912, in Crawford Township, Coshocton County, she was a daughter of the late James M. and Phillippina Scheetz Levengood.From 1943 to 1957, she worked at the Heller Tool Co. at Newcomerstown, the former Belmont Enameling Co. at New Philadelphia and the original Dover Buehler’s grocery. She was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ at Fiat and from 1983 to 1997, she volunteered 1 day a week at the Walnut Hills Nursing Home in Walnut Creek. Her husband, Otto O. Ott, whom she married November 16, 1929, preceded her in death on October 20, 1982.She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James (Wanda) Lorenz of Stonecreek; a foster son, Henry Ray (Phyllis) Young of Guernsey; two grandchildren, Karen (David) Ricklic and James A. Lorenz, both of Sugarcreek; five foster grandchildren, Michael (Dawn) Young of Cambridge, Becky (Lynn) Moore of Newcomerstown, Charles Young of Byesville, James (Leanne) Young of Pleasant City, and George Young of West Lafayette; two great-grandchildren; eight foster great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Miller of Sugarcreek; a sister-in-law, Ruth Levengood of Sugarcreek; and a brother-in-law, Edward Honabarger of Newcomerstown.In addition to her parents and husband, Isabelle was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2002, at 11:00 AM in the Smith-Geib Funeral Home at Baltic. Rev. Greg Clay will officiate and burial will follow in Bakersville Cemetery at Bakersville. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 8 PM in the funeral home.The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 201 West Third Street, Dover, OH, 44622.
