Hope Dodds-Kirk

Hope Dodds-Kirk, 46, of Uhrichsville, died Sunday, March 27, 2005 at Union Hospital in Dover.A daughter of John William and Nancy Jo (Host) Dodds of Uhrichsville, Hope was born November 29, 1958 in Dennison.She was a 1977 graduate of Claymont High School and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Uhrichsville.Hope was an accomplished vocalist having worked for Walt Disney Productions in California as well as Dollywood in Pigeon Forge.She is survived by her parents; and one brother, Bill Dodds of Tuscon, Arizona; one sister, Rebecca Jane (Marvin) Dodds-Page of Uhrichsville; two nephews, Justin Page of Uhrichsville and Drew Dodds of Tuscon, Arizona; and one niece, Brett Dodds of Tuscon, Arizona.Hope was preceded in death by one sister, Paula K. Dodds.In keeping with Hope’s wishes, private services will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at the Geib Funeral Center in Dover with Rev. Mark Unrue officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville.The family requests in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made in hope’s memory to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, P.O. Box 92, New Philadelphia, OH 44663 and/or Cats’ N Us Animal Shelter, 829 Union Avenue, Dover, OH 44621.
