Honey Sue Huffman, 73, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in Community Hospice House at New Philadelphia following a period of declining health.
A daughter of the late Gale Colvin Sr. and the late Verna (Burroway) Colvin, Honey Sue was born January 21, 1941 at Uhrichsville, Ohio.
She is survived by her children, William (Cheryl) Huffman Jr. of Elgin, Illinois and Lynn Burner of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Tyler, Shayne, Haley, Melissa and Elaina and four brothers, Gale (Kathy) Colvin Jr. of Bloomingdale, Illinois, Calvin (Ramona) Colvin of Eastlake, Ohio and Gary (Geralyn) Colvin and Dennis (Cindy) Colvin both of Uhrichsville.
Honey Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, William Huffman Sr. and her son-in-law, Edward Burner.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no calling hours and a private family service will be held. Cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia with inurnment being held in Union Cemetery at Uhrichsville at a later date.
