Holly Maye Gier

Holly Maye Gier, age, 2, of Canton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 17, 2014.

A daughter of Ben Gier of Canton and Stephanie (Hintz) Loudiana of Beach City, Holly was born February 9, 2012 in Canton, Ohio.

Holly will be remembered as an extremely sweet and soft spoken little girl who always said “thank you” and always had a smile on her face. She loved to sing and dance around the house.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her siblings, Adam and Audrey Loudiana of Canal Fulton and her twin sister, Hope Gier of Canton; her grandparents, Seena Gier and Brian Kohl of Strasburg, Lori and Chris Rastetter of Canal Fulton and Dave and Cheryl Hintz of Brewster; her great grandparents, Etta Kohl of Cape Coral, Florida, Jerry and Donna Kohl of Strasburg and Lesh Patrick of Boothwyn, Pennsylvania; her God Parents, Monte and Shonnette Freshwater of Mineral City and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. A memorial service celebrating Holly’s life will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Brian Flood officiating.
