Hilda May Kidd

Hilda May Kidd, 76, of Beacon Point Health Care Center, formerly of Morning View, and Colonial Manor of New Philadelphia, and formerly of Zanesville, died July 2, 2003. Born December 1, 1926 in Belmont County, OH, she was the only daughter of the late Charles William Jones and Ruby Alice. Simmons Jones. Hilda will be remembered as a person who loved to work with her hands, she enjoyed making crafts, and baking when she visited her family. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed.Mrs. Kidd is survived by two brothers, Charles William Jones Jr. of Dillion, SC; and Donald Elwood (Louise) Wilson of Newcomerstown, OH as well as 29 nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.Hilda was widowed three times and is now in a better place with husbands Robert Swauger, Chester Cumberledge and Clarance Kidd; four brothers, John Henry; Author Paul; George Frederick and an infant brother, Roy Ray Jones. Local cremation was conducted through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory. There are no calling hours.Family and friends are invited to a memorial service Sunday, August 3, 2003 at 4 PM at the pavilion in Uhrichsville City Park.
