Hester Virginia Graham

Hester Virginia Graham, 89, of Dover, died Sunday, October 1, 2006 in Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.A daughter of the late Charles and Susie (O’Donnell) Burgett, Hester was born September 15, 1917 in Bellaire, Ohio.She was a member of Schoenbrunn Moravian Church at New Philadelphia as well as a member of the Tuscarawas County Disabled Veterans Chapter 67.Hester volunteered at the Grange Food Building at the Tuscarawas County Fair, cutting and serving pies for many years. She enjoyed making quilts and ceramics and tending to her flower gardens. Hester dearly enjoyed the companionship from her pet dog, Babe.She is survived by one son, Russell Kohler of New Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Doris (Thomas) Grezlik and Chuck Kohler both of New Philadelphia and John Kohler of Uhrichsville; great grandchildren, Ryan Grezlik and Karmann Grezlik and one sister, Susie.Hester was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Kohler; her second husband, John Graham; one daughter, Doris Jean Kohler and three siblings, Mary, Freda and Charles.Family and friends may call in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia with Pastor Sue Koenig officiating.
