Herbert “Herb” D. Heldt, 73, of Wainwright, died December 16, 2006, in Aultman Hospital at Canton, Ohio.The son of the late Clarence and Inez Pissocra Heldt, Herb was born on August 20, 1933 at Dover. On September 5, 1960, he married the Patricia Ann Bambeck.Herb was born, raised, and lived his entire life in the family house on Wainwright Road. He was a 1951 graduate of Tuscarawas Warwick High School. He owned and operated Heldt’s Market and after its closing, he became a deputy sheriff. Herb also worked at Twin City Meats. Herb was a Warwick Twp. Trustee for twelve years.He was a charter member of the Warwick Twp. Lion’s Club and a life member of the Tuscarawas V.F.W. Post #7943. He was a member of the former St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in WainwrightHe will be sadly missed by his best friend and loving wife of 46 years, Patricia, children, Philip (Brenda) Heldt of Wainwright, Dr. Rhonda Heldt of Sonoma, California; grandchildren, Kacie Heldt, Keith Heldt both of Dover, Annastacia, Mila, Frank, and Jeana Heldt all of Wainwright; brother, Clarence “Putt” (Katherine) Heldt of New Philadelphia; many nieces and nephews; and friends.In keeping with Herb’s wishes there will be no calling hours observed and cremation has already taken place. A graveside service will be led by Fr. Martin J. Ralko on Friday, December 22, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery at Dover.Memorial contributions to honor Herb’s life may be sent to the Warwick Lion’s Club Scholarship Fund, P.O.
