Helen Morgan

Helen Elizabeth Morgan, 93, of Uhrichsville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 6, 2023, in Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital of Dover, following a period of declining health.

Born in Coshocton, Ohio on February 13, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Gladys (Kenner) Bridges.

Helen was a homemaker and loved to care for her family.  She also loved spending time with her dog Daisy.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane (John) Meese of Dover, and Linda (Abe) Marner of Dover; over 30 grandchildren; her caregivers and grandchildren, Michael Freetag, Terri Gribble, and Mark (Leah Shaw) Gribble; numerous great-grandchildren; and step-children, Jonna Harper, and Clarence “Bakie” Morgan II.

In addition to her parents, Helen was also preceded in death by her first husband, Merle F. Freetag; second husband, Clarence “Bacon” Morgan; daughters, Sue Stevens, and Beverly Conley; great-grandson, Nathan Gribble; and all of her siblings.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM in Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia.  A celebration of Helen’s life will be held 2:00 PM in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in East Ave. Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
