Helen Margaret Stover Dolvin, 78, of Mineral City, passed away Friday, August 29, 2003 at Morning View Care Center in New Philadelphia.Born September 5, 1924 in Elm Grove, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Charles Roy and Wilma Dora Siligar Stover. Most recently, Helen worked for the U. S. Ceramic Tile Company. Helen greatly enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and she loved to fish throughout the states and Canada. She also was an avid animal lover.Helen, with her husband, George Sherman Dolvin, who died May 29, 2003, raised one child, Michael (Leigh) Biclawski of Maumee, OH. In addition to her son, she is survived by three grandchildren, Michelle (Ivan) Bearinger of Traverse City, Michigan, Barbie (Tim) Rhamy of McClure, Ohio, and Michael (Lisa) Biclawski of North Canton; brothers, Rev. Norman (Mary) Stover of Goshen, Robert Stover of Dover, and Paul (Anna) Stover of Brightwood; one sister, Dorothy Bevan of Dover; and six great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Stover. To celebrate Helen’s life, a funeral service will be held at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. A meal will be served at her church, Day Starr Holiness Chapel, 3573 Mt. Pleasant Rd. NW, Dover, following the committal. Visitation will be held Monday, September 1, 2003 at the funeral home from 2 to 5 PM.
