Helen Loretta Stemple

Helen Loretta Stemple, 94, of Dover, died December 3, 2005 at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover.A daughter of the late Adam and Sadie (Hubbard) Lallance, Helen was born September 24, 1911 in Syracuse, Ohio.Helen, who formerly attended Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Philadelphia, was a cook at the Tuscarawas County Home. She had a passion for baseball and especially Cincinnati Reds. She is survived by two sons, Daniel R. (Jo) West of Dover and Jack L. (Barbara) West of Virginia Beach, Virginia; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret McDowell of Columbus, Ohio.Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Ralph West; her second husband, Raymond Smith; her third husband, Dale Stemple; and nine brothers and sisters.Family and friends may call at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory in New Philadelphia on Monday, December 5, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. A service celebrating Helen’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Chapel with Rev. Brian Flood officiating.
