Hazel M. Kaiser, 88, of West Lafayette, Ohio, died Sunday, July 29, 2007 in Coshocton Memorial Hospital. Born at Shoenbrunn, Ohio, on December 26, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Walter and Etta LeMasters Rummell.She was a 1937 graduate of Midvale High School, a homemaker and greatly enjoyed traveling and rollerskating. Hazel was a member of Parkview Church of Christ. On December 26, 1940 she married Clarence L. “Bud” Kaiser. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1989.She is survived by a son, Bradley (Esther) Kaiser, of West Lafayette and two daughters, Sally Murphy, of Auburn, Washington and Janet Hickenbottom, of New Philedelphia, Ohio; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren; two brothers, Warren (Emily) Rummell, of New Philadelphia and Carl (Frances) Rummell, of Newcomerstown and two sisters-in-law, Donna and Mabel Rummell.Hazel was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Bailey and brothers, Dean and Roger Rummell and 2 grandsons.Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2007, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia, Evangelist John Gibson will officiate at a funeral Service on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel where friends may also visit from 10 a.m. till service time. Burial will be beside her husband in Evergreen Burial Park. A memorial reception will be held in the Geib Family Center, adjacent to the funeral home following the committal.
