Harold A. Corder

Harold A. Corder, 84, of North Canton, and formerly of Strasburg, died Thursday, December 2, 2004, at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Betty Corder in North Canton.A son of the late Alva E. and Alice (Uptegraph) Corder, Harold was born September 28, 1920 in New Philadelphia.He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a member of the Strasburg United Methodist Church. Harold retired from I.F. Manufacturing after 38 years of service. He also had a great love for nature as well as sports.Harold is survived by five children, Robert (Marla) Corder of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Richard (Betty) Corder of North Canton, Ohio, Randy (Paula) Corder of Boliver, Ronald (Shirley) Corder of Dover, and Karen (Jeffery) Collingwood of North Monroeville, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his beloved dogs, Lucky and Lucie.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. A private graveside service will be held on Monday, December 6, 2004 at Grandview Union Cemetery in Strasburg with the Revs. David and Barbara Ross officiating.The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Mercy Medical Hospice, 7568 Whipple Avenue NW, North Canton, OH 44720.
