H. Pauline Reinhart, age 90, a longtime resident of New Philadelphia, died peacefully, early Monday morning, March 17, 2008, in Hennis Care Centre at Dover following a brief illness. The eldest daughter of the late Frank and Sarah Sweasey, Pauline was born January 29, 1918 at Barnhill, Ohio. Pauline was a 1938 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and later graduated from the former Stafford Business College of New Philadelphia. On May 2, 1959, she married Roger S. Reinhart. The couple observed forty-seven years of marriage together prior to Mr. Reinhart’s death, December 29, 2006. The Reinhart’s were longtime members of the First Church of God at New Philadelphia.Mrs. Reinhart was a long distance telephone operator for many years at the former GTE Co. retiring in 1969. Survivors include three sisters, June MacInnis of Jackson, Michigan. Ruth (Paul) Johnson of North Canton, Sarah (Chester) Muth of Morgantown, West Virginia, two brothers; Charles (Carole) Sweasey of Winston Salem, North Carolina, and Homer Sweasey of New Philadelphia. Many nieces, nephews, great-grand-nieces and great-grand-nephews complete the family. Friends are invited to call Thursday, March 20, 2008, from 5-7PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Pastor Matt Roe of the First Church of God will officiate Mrs. Reinhart’s funeral Friday morning at 10:30 AM in the funeral home’s chapel. Burial will follow at Dover Burial Park. Following the committal service, family and friends will gather for a meal in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover, adjacent to Dover Burial Park.
