Grace Furbay

Grace Furbay, 90, passed away Saturday August 23, 2003 at Morning View Care Center at New Philadelphia. She was born August 13, 1913 to the late Dennis & Irena Latto Furbay. She lived in Tuscarawas County all her life and attended Blizzard Ridge and Stillwater Elementary Schools and Uhrichsville High School. She received additional secretarial training at Safford Business College at New Philadelphia. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church at New Philadelphia and had worked for 29 years at the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District from which she retired.Grace was the last of 10 children. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by six brothers William, Lawrence, Lee, Alvin, Harry and Milton; three sisters Mary, Carrie and Mildred, and many nieces and nephews. At Grace’s request there are no visitation hours. Graveside services will be held Wednesday August 27th at 11:00 AM in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia
