Grace Duke

Grace Duke, 84, of New Philadelphia, died Sunday, July 24, 2016 in Community Hospice House at New Philadelphia.

A daughter of the late Joseph Weber and the late Iva Wilson, Grace was born November 9, 1931 at Millersburg, Ohio.

She is survived by her children, Kathy (Rob) Beagle, Reccine (Richard Sr.) Wigfield and Laverne Duke Jr. all of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Michelle (Seth) Grimes, Richard (Shannon) Wigfield Jr., Richelle (Chris) Woytko and Brittany Duke; nine great grandchildren and many other extended family members.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Laverne Duke Sr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.  A celebration of Grace’s life will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Hugh Berry officiating.  Burial will be held at a later date.
