Gloria Mary Conconi, 81, of New Philadelphia, died Monday, June 30, 2008 in Hennis Care and Retirement Centre at Dover.A daughter of the late Angelo Alfredo and Maria M. (Terzaghi) Conconi, Gloria was born June 29, 1927 at Uhrichsville, OhioGloria was a 1945 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. She retired in 1989 from East Sparta Tile & Ceramics where she worked as a tile inspector.She was a member of Sacred Heart Church at New Philadelphia. Gloria enjoyed gardening and she had a love for animals, especially her cats.She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Joanne Warmus of Green, Ohio, Alfred (Nancy Jo) Warmus of Bath, Ohio, John (Jane) Warmus of Green, Ohio, Carol Rhodes of Canton, Ohio and Elizabeth (David) Hipp of New Philadelphia as well as several great nieces and great nephews, a special friend Vaughn Ley Sr. of Dover and a special cousin, Jackie Kinser of Brightwood.Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Millie Warmus; a brother, Reno Conconi; a sister-in-law, Mary Conconi and brother-in-law, John Warmus.Family and friends may call on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia with a Christian Wake service being held at 7:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church at New Philadelphia with Monsignor George Schlegel officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
