Gloria I. Zimmerman

Gloria I. Zimmerman, 72, of New Philadelphia, died Friday, December 15, 2006 at her home following a lengthy illness.A daughter of the late Russell D. and Florence I. (Kaiser) Hobart, Gloria was born June 9, 1934 at New Philadelphia, Ohio.She was a 1952 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and she was employed at Express Packaging for 16 years.Gloria was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at New Philadelphia. She enjoyed reading and jig saw puzzles. But most of all, Gloria enjoyed Bowling. Along with her first husband, William, she was a member of the Class A League at Kinser Lanes.She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Siggia of Nashville, Tennessee and Leslie Hughes of New Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Brooke Williams and Brayden Hughes both of New Philadelphia and Paige Siggia of Nashville, Tennessee; one brother, Gene (Pat) Hobart of New Philadelphia and one sister, Peg (Gene) Crites of New Philadelphia. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William I. Watson; her second husband, Robert Zimmerman; one sister, Elva Betche; one brother, Donald Hobart; her mother-in-law, Mabel Craigo and her father-in-law, Calvin Zimmerman.In keeping with Gloria’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services observed. Cremation will take place in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
