Gloria Ann Compan

Gloria Ann Compan, 83, of Newcomerstown, died Monday, April 15, 2013 in Riverside Manor at Newcomerstown with her family by her side.

A daughter of the late Frank Fox and the late Isabelle (Griffin) Fox Kohler, Gloria was born November 27, 1929 at Martins Ferry, Ohio.

Gloria was an avid reader and she enjoyed playing Bingo.

She is survived by her daughters, Darlene (James) Stanley of Newcomerstown and Isabelle (Bill) Holly of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; five grandchildren, Brenda Reigle of West Lafayette, Carrie (Shawn) Medley of Coshocton, Kimberly King of Akron, Dennis King and Aleshia (Kevin) Morgan of Akron; seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Compan.

In keeping with Gloria’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens at Massillon.
