Glenn Tharp

Norris “Glenn” Tharp, 85, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 in Claymont Health & Rehab of Uhrichsville.

A son of the late Russell and Theo (Jaggers) Tharp, Glenn was born March 5, 1931 at Adamsville, Tennessee.

Glenn was a very talented, amateur photographer.  He enjoyed this hobby and has rooms filled with his photographs.  He also enjoyed his trips to Europe and Australia.

Glenn is survived by his cousins, Shirley (Don) Greenwood, Randy Wicker, Jerry Cope, Terry Wicker, Donald Wicker, Ronnie Wicker, Golda (Charles) Ash and Brenda Strong, as well as his camera club friends, especially Ruth Steadman.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours.  A memorial service will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Brian Flood officiating.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Community Hospice for their care prior to Glenn’s passing.
