Glendora Lee Evans, 57, of New Philadelphia, died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at her home following a period of declining health.

A daughter of Jack Beatty of Coshocton and Lois (Green) Gordon of New Philadelphia, Glendora was born June 3, 1956 at Massillon, Ohio.

Glendora enjoyed making jewelry. She also enjoyed spending time with her best friend, her mother, Lois.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Jessica (fiancé, Andre Brumley) Money of Akron and Michael Evans of New Philadelphia; a longtime companion, Randy Evans of New Philadelphia, her grandchildren, Nikia, Lyric and Avant Money, Dremier Brumley and Ashton Evan; a sister, Jackie Vanaman of Coshocton and three brothers, Mitchell and Bobby (Luanne) Beatty of Coshocton and Billy Green of New Philadelphia.

Glendora was preceded in death by her step father, Earl Gordon.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Glendora’s life will follow in the funeral home at 4 p.m. Cremation will follow the services.
