Gladys J. Huebner

Gladys J. Huebner, 75, of New Philadelphia and formerly of Dennison, passed away in Schoenbrunn Healthcare Center on Monday, July 22, 2013.

Born in Tuscarawas on May 14, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Phillips and Margaret Folp. She graduated from Tuscarawas High School and spent her lifetime as a homemaker, loving and caring for her children.

Gladys loved to be outdoors, whether it was tending to her garden, fishing, or riding her 4-wheeler. Also of utmost important to Gladys was spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Gladys is survived by her children, Annette Huebner of East Sparta, Jaimie (Ruth) Huebner of Tappan Lake, Donna “Jeano” Boydston of Brewster, and Greg (Angela) Huebner of Monroe, Washington; a brother, Ronald Phillips of Florida; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Dean “Frenchy” Huebner who died January 13, 2003.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 2 pm at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia with The Rev. Darrell Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Burial will be at East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia.
