Gilbert “Pat” Graham, age 91 of New Philadelphia, died peacefully, early Friday morning, August 3, 2012, in the care of Hospice House at New Philadelphia.
A son of the late Edward and Dora (Fox) Graham, Pat, as he was known to family and friends, was born at Roswell, Ohio on March 13, 1921.
He attended school at Roswell and began working for the Civilian Conservation Corps. He later worked for a number of area manufacturing firms prior to becoming the owner of the former Ringside Bar & Tavern at Dover for more than 40 years.
Those who knew Pat well knew of his love for cars, and his special fondness for Cadillacs.
He is survived by his wife, Ann E. (Rotondo) Graham; a son, Patrick (wife, Anna) Graham of Dover; a brother, Jerry (wife, Marge) Graham of New Philadelphia; and two sisters, Evelyn Kolbach of Clinton, Ohio and Adeline (husband, Joe) Mowls of New Philadelphia; his neighbors and special friends, Gary and Mary Ann Spargrove of New Philadelphia and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by brothers Elmer Graham, Delmer Graham, Barney Graham, Charles Graham, Clifford Graham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Annie Graham, John and Hester Graham; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ida and Louis Paris, Dorothy and Blaine Walker, Gladys and Mike Campbell, and a brother-in-law, Edward Kolbach.
In keeping with Pat’s wishes there will be no visitation or services. Cremation care has been conducted by Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Shannon and Marcia, all of the nurses, aides, and the staff of Hospice House.
