Gerard F. McNiff

Gerard F. “Jerry” McNiff, 67, of Strasburg, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in Park Village Health Care Center at Dover following a period of declining health.

A son of the late Gerard and Violet (Walker) McNiff, Jerry was born January 28, 1948 at Toledo, Ohio.

At the age of two, Jerry and his family moved to Florida where he resided until 1982 when he returned to Ohio with his wife, Bonnie.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Hill) McNiff whom he married on July 15, 1967; two children, James (Misty) McNiff and Jennifer (Jesse) Renicker both of Strasburg; six grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan and Hunter McNiff and Ashley, Justin and Brice Stropky and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pauline and Bud Smith of Minerva.

In keeping with Jerry’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Geib Funeral Center at Dover.
