Geraldine H. Holloway, 61, of New Philadelphia, formerly of Okeechobee, Fl., died Tuesday July 13, 2004 at her residence surrounded by her family.Geraldine was born at Marissa, Il., July 20, 1942 to the late Stanley and Ann (Wisneski) Mierek and had worked for the Plastridge Insurance Co. of Palm Beach, Fl., prior to her illness.She is survived by her husband of 43 years; Tom C. Holloway, daughter; Tina (Rich) Grasselli of New Philadelphia, sons; Tyrone (Sandy) Holloway of New Philadelphia, Steve (Christine) Holloway of Bolivar, sister; Dorothy Torrens of Sparta, Il., brothers; Stan Mierek of Decatur, Il., and Ron Mierek of St. Peters, Mo., 11 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.A memorial service celebrating Geraldine’s life will be held on Tuesday July 20, 2004, at 7 PM at the Bolivar Wesleyan Church with Rev. Doug McFadden officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Tuscarawas Co., 201 W. 3rd St. Dover, OH 44622 or the Gabriel Cancer Center, 340 Oxford St. Dover, OH 44622.
