George Michael Lusic III, age 22, of New Philadelphia, died Saturday, July 17, 2004 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.Born March 22, 1982 at Dover, Ohio, he was the son of George Michael Lusic, Jr. and Joy (Watson) Lusic of New Philadelphia.George was a 2000 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. George was majoring in psychology at the Tuscarawas Campus of Kent State University where he earned recognition for making the Dean’s List.George had a love for music. He was a local musician who played the acoustic guitar while singing. He also wrote many of his own songs and lyrics. George was a former member of the band “Bound”. In addition to his parents, George is survived by his sister, Megan Lusic of the home and his brother, Jake Lusic of the home. Paternal grandmother, Anne (Cutich) Lusic of Dover. Maternal grandparents, Virgil and Patricia (Clapper) Watson of New Philadelphia and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. George will be sadly missed by his fiancé, Erika Karns of Dennison.George was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, George Michael Lusic, Sr.Visitation will be held at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia, on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8PM with a wake service being held at 7:30PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at 1:00PM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dover with Father William L. Arnold officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Calvary Cemetery in Dover.The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the George M.
