Gene R. Thomas

Gene R. Thomas, 83, of Dover, died Monday, December 17, 2012 at Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.

A son of the late Donald and Katie (Arth) Thomas, Gene was born January 4, 1929 at Uhrichsville, Ohio.

He is survived by his special companion, Becky Pringle of Dover; his son, Donald Thomas of Dover; his daughter, Paula Thomas of Port Washington; two granddaughters, Katie Thomas and Annie Thomas Lanzer; a brother, Raymond (Elaine) Thomas of New Philadelphia and two sisters, Judith Clark of New Philadelphia and Karen (Terry) Crites of Gnadenhutten.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Hilda M. (Lab) Thomas and a sister, Dorothy Hursey.

In keeping with Gene’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover.
