Gary Roof

Gary Lee Roof, age 78, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in Hennis Care Center at Dover.Born in Coshocton on June 26, 1931, he was the son of the late Raymond L. and Mabel (Stockum) Roof. Gary loved to talk with anyone when the opportunity arose. He also had a love for reading and was of protestant faith.Gary leaves behind two sons, Charles W. (Lisa) Roof of Coshocton and Raymond L. (Gail) Roof of Dover; his siblings, Gregory Roof of Coshocton and Janice Nelson of Florida; his step-brother, Larry (Judy) Keithline of Coshocton; his step-sister, Gladys (Vernon) Williams of Coshocton; one grandson, Russell (Stephanie) Roof; great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Irene Hawk; and his brother, Raymond D. Roof.No public visitation or services will be held.
