Gary E. Haney II

Gary Eugene Haney II, 50, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 in New Philadelphia, following a tragic accident.

A son of Gay Lynne Hilton and the late Gary Eugene Haney, Gary was born October 13, 1965 in New Philadelphia, Ohio.

Gary graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1983.  He then went on to work for Union as an operating engineer for many years.  In his free time, Gary loved working in the garage.  He would spend hours working on his sport track and polishing his Mustang.  He also enjoyed off-roading, dirt biking, rock crawling, and spending time playing with his grandchildren, the killer B’s.

He is survived by his loving wife Angela, whom he married December 31, 2014; two daughters, Brittany (Dusty) Braun and Lexis Haney; four grandchildren, Bronko, Boston, Barrett, and Brinson Braun; mother Gay Lynne Hilton and step-father Ronald C. Hilton; sisters Tara (Donnie) Jones, Rhonda (David) Hilton, and Christine Long as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Gary Haney and grandmother Jeanette Moore.

In keeping with Gary’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.  Cremation care will take place through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.
