Gary A. Hill

Gary A. Hill, age 68, of New Philadelphia and formerly of Canton, died peacefully, Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Amberwood Manor under the care of Community Hospice following an extended illness.

Born in Twin City Hospital at Dennison on November 1, 1944, Gary was a son of the late Leroy Hill and Dorothy Golec.

Gary was a 1962 graduate of the former Uhrichsville High School and retired from the Timken Company at Canton following 35 years of service.

He is survived by his sister, Vivian Donohoe of New Philadelphia and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald W. Hill.

In keeping with Gary’s wishes, cremation has taken place through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory. A private family graveside is planned for a later date.
