Garry C. Wallick

Garry C. Wallick, age 47, of Dover, died Saturday, October 29, 2016 following a period of declining health.

A son of Izena Couch of New Philadelphia and the late Marion Wallick, Jr., Garry was born in Twin City Hospital at Dennison on August 18, 1969.

Garry attended elementary school at New Philadelphia and high school at Dover. He worked for a number of years as a maintenance man for the Celebration Station Amusement Park at Florida prior to returning to Ohio. Most recently he was employed by Hicks Roofing.

In his free time, he enjoyed helping others as a handy man, fishing and spending time with his dog, Baby.

In addition to his mother, Garry is survived by three children, Shannen (Shaun Reitter) Wallick of Canton, Shawn (Erika) Wallick of Louisville, and Shane (Katelyn) Wallick of Malvern; six grandchildren, Zoey, Blaze, Rage, Roland, Nazaria, and Logan; his siblings, Patricia (Charles) Pankratz, Rev. James (Shelia) Wallick; his former wife and longtime friend, Sharon Wallick, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Garry was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Wallick and his step-father, Dale Couch.

A memorial service led by his brother, Rev. James Wallick will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 2 PM in the Dennison First Church of God, 403 N Third Street, Dennison, Ohio 44621.
