Frances M. Bihari

Frances M. Bihari, 81, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday morning at Aultman Hospital in Canton following a lengthy illness.A daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Wiegand Seikel, Frances was born February 11, 1925, on the family farm near Dover, Ohio.She was a 1942 graduate of St. Joseph High School, in Dover, and was valedictorian of her graduating class. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother with a great sense of humor and a good business mind who worked as a bookkeeper prior to her marriage and helped her husband manage their rental properties.Frances was a member of Sacred Heart Church, in New Philadelphia, and had formerly been active with its Altar Society. She enjoyed flower gardening and traveling and had formerly been a T4C volunteer.She is survived by her loving husband, William J. Bihari, whom she married April 21, 1952; She will be greatly missed by her eight children, Jeanne (Mark) Bowman, of Cincinnati, O., Barbara (Bruce) Rusnak, of North Canton, O., Thomas (Sara) Bihari, of Worthington, O., Katherine Dutton, of N. Olmsted, O., Rita Bihari, of New Philadelphia, Joyce (Chris) O’Daniel, of Galena, O., James Bihari, of Columbus, O. and Michele Bihari, of Lakewood, O.; grandchildren, William and Bethany Bowman, Sonja, Gretchen and Karl Rusnak, Everett Dutton, Erin and Gillian O’Daniel, Ian, Alex and JacobBihari and Elizabeth and Kristina Bihari.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter, Mike, Thomas, Carl and Robert Seikel and her sisters, Sister M. Aurea (Clara) and Sister M. Aquinas (Agnes).Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday October 28, 2006 at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church with Msgr. George J. Schlegel officiating. A reception will be held in St. Ambrose Hall following the committal. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia.Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Tuscarawas Co. 201 W.
