Frances Delores Pietro

Frances Delores Pietro, 76, of New Philadelphia, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 in her home.A daughter of the late Peter and Rose (Dotto) Angelo, Frances was born December 19, 1931 at Dennison, Ohio.She was a 1949 graduate of St. Mary’s High School at Dennison. Frances was employed in the bakery at the former Clayland IGA at Uhrichsville and most recently at Litty’s Cakes and Cookies at New Philadelphia.Frances was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at New Philadelphia where she was a member of the Altar Society. She was also a member of the L.C.B.A. She was a regular visitor to the Tuscarawas County Senior Center where she enjoyed exercising and visiting with her friends.She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Maholm and her husband Brad of Dover and Becky Marsh and her husband Dave of New Philadelphia and five grandchildren, Matt and Logan and Dustin (Heather), Priya and Elizabeth.Completing the family are one sister, Marianne (Gary) Norman of Florida and many nieces and nephews.Frances was preceded in death by her parents and her dear husband, Joseph U. Pietro who passed away on January 22, 1999.Family and friends may call on Friday, May 23, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church at New Philadelphia with Monsignor George Schlegel officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery at Dover.
