Faye McCauley

Faye McCauley, 92, of New Philadelphia formerly of Uhrichsville, died April 20, 2007, in New Dawn Retirement Community. A daughter of the late Simeon L. Creager and Forrest I. McLaughlin Creager, Faye was born on August 16, 1914, in Newport, Ohio. Faye was a 1932 graduate of Uhrichsville High School. On September 9, 1934, Faye married the late William Donald McCauley. Faye was the owner and operator of a beauty shop in Uhrichsville and she also worked at Daniel’s Clothing Shop in downtown New Philadelphia. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church and their Esther Circle.In addition to her parents and husband, Faye was preceded in death by sister, Fern Creager; special aunt, Ethel Eichel; and son-in-law, Theodore Sweeney.She is survived by her daughter, Donna Jean Sweeney of New Philadelphia; and granddaughter, Robin Sweeney of New Philadelphia.Friends are invited to call, Monday, April 23, 2007, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., in the Linn-Hert Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.Rev. Sowers will lead the funeral service on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. in the Linn-Hert Geib Chapel. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Burial Park.The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Broadway United Methodist Church, 120 Church Street S.E., New Philadelphia, Ohio
