Evelyn Eileen Newton

Evelyn Eileen Newton, 79, of New Dawn Health Care Center at Dover, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008.A daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Page) Newton, Evelyn was born August 23, 1928 at Midvale, Ohio.Evelyn attended Midvale Schools and was a homemaker. She enjoyed baking and sewing in which she made most of her own clothes.She is survived by her sisters, Anna DeNoi of Dover and Mary Heid of Dundee. Several nieces and nephews complete the family.Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, Lucille Locker, Martha Edwards, Bernice Edie, Thelma Edie and Mable Newton and one brother, Marion Newton. In keeping with Evelyn’s wishes, there will be no public services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
