Eugene Anthony Maistrelli

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 10 at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Eugene Anthony Maistrelli, age 85, of New Philadelphia, who died on Christmas Eve last year, and his wife, Vera Dindo Maistrelli, who died a year ago on May 2, 2006. The memorial mass will coincide with the sixtieth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Maistrelli who were married in the church on May 10, 1947. Burial of the urns bearing Mr. and Mrs. Maistrelli will follow in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia, where members of the Tuscarawas VFW will render military honors in recognition of Mr. Maistrelli who was a veteran and lifelong member of Post # 7943 at Tuscarawas. A procession will form at Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia and proceed to the church following prayers which will commence at 10:15 on Thursday morning. Family and friends attending the graveside service are encouraged to join the procession at the funeral home.
