Ethel E. Kutcher

Ethel E. Kutcher, age 78, of New Philadelphia passed away Monday morning, August 15, 2011, in Union Hospital at Dover.The daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Beaver) Linard, Ethel was born in New Philadelphia on November 6, 1932.She attended New Philadelphia High School, before marrying her beloved husband, the late Robert E. Kutcher who preceded her in death on March 27, 2011.Ethel spent her life as a homemaker and deeply enjoyed caring for and sharing time with her family, especially her grandson. She was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church at New Philadelphia and was an avid collector of Pillsbury Doughboy memorabilia. Additionally, Ethel loved to travel and make trips by car through the countryside. She took advantage of the opportunities in which time in the backyard and barbecues were shared with her family and neighbors. Ethel will be deeply missed by her daughter, Deb (husband, Larry) Bower of New Philadelphia; her grandson, Jeremy (wife, Chantelli Fulst) Bower of Lincoln, Nebraska; two brothers, Delbert Linard of Texas and Donald (wife, Betty) Linard of New Philadelphia; and two sisters-in-law, Donna Linard and Wanda Linard both of New Philadelphia.Numerous nieces and nephews complete the family.In addition to her parents and husband, Ethel was preceded in death by her brothers; Robert, Ernest, Jim, Frank Jr., Carl, and William Linard. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 18, 2011, one hour prior to services, from 10:30 â?? 11:30 a.m. Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia where Reverend Hugh B. Berry will lead a memorial service celebrating Ethel’s life at 11:30 a.m. In keeping with Ethel’s wishes, private burial will take place in the Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.The family requests memorial contributions in Ethel’s name may be directed to the New Dawn Activities Center, 865 East Iron Avenue, Dover, Ohio 44622.
