Ernestine Fisher

Ernestine Fisher, age 86, formerly of Ray Avenue, New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in Country Club Retirement Center at Dover.A daughter of the late Charles R. and Pearl A. (Heavlin) Porter, Ernestine was born at Dennison, Ohio on May 25, 1923; and was a graduate of Dennison High School.Ernestine cherished the time she spent with her family; providing constant love and care for each of them. Additionally, she enjoyed the company of her friends. She is survived by her four children, Stephen R. Fisher of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Charles A. Fisher of New Philadelphia, Ann E. (William R.) Hostetler of Massillon, and James D. (Casey J.) Fisher of Dover. Her loving grandchildren complete the family.The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 25, 2009, one hour prior to services from 1:00 â?? 2:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Pastor Steven Patrick will lead a celebration of Ernestine’s life in the funeral home’s chapel on Thursday at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.The family requests that memorial contributions in Ernestine’s name be sent to Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 201 West Third Street, Dover, Ohio 44622.
