Erma J. Korns, 71, of New Philadelphia, died Monday, November 28, 2005 at Union Hospital in Dover following a brief illness.A daughter of the late Nicholas and Dessie White Meuhlen, Erma was born December 31, 1933 in Dover, O.She is survived by daughters, Gaylynn Contini, and Roxanne (Ronnie) Webb, of New Philadelphia, Barbara D. (Daniel) Malloy, of Canton and Charlotte Garber and her companion Jeffrey Weigand, of Strasburg; a brother, James Meuhlen, of New Philadelphia; a sister, Carol Fisher, of Somerdale; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.Erma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence “Max” Korns, whom she is together with again; a brother Nicholas “Peck” Meuhlen and a sister Dorothy Meuhlen.Services will be Friday, December 2, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home chapel in New Philadelphia, with Rev. Hugh Berry officiating. Visitation will be from 2 till 3 p.m Friday.
