Emily Louise Reynolds

Emily Louise Reynolds, infant daughter of Carl E. “Gene” Reynolds and Jessica Rucker of Carrollton was called home to heaven on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, in Akron Children’s Hospital where she fought a brief illness.

Born in Union Hospital at Dover on April 28, 2012, Emily was a little sister to brother, Ty Reynolds of the home, and half-brothers, John and Mike Reynolds.

She will be deeply missed by her maternal grandparents, Tiffany Hostetler of Louisville, and Chris Rucker of Canton; paternal grandfather, Boyd “Sonny” Reynolds of Uhrichsville; maternal great-grandmothers Linda Hostetler of North Canton and Shirley Rucker of Canton; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Emily was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lula Louise Reynolds; maternal great-grandfather, Arcy “Rock” Rucker, and paternal great-grandmothers, Betty Justice and Phyllis Richardson.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Pastor Jack Pancher will lead a celebration of Emily’s life in the funeral home’s chapel on Saturday at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.

Following the service, the family wishes to invite guests to join them in the Geib Family Center, adjacent to the New Philadelphia funeral home, where food and fellowship will be shared.

In gratitude for their kindness and compassion the family wishes for memorial contributions in Emily’s name be directed to the Ronald McDonald House of Akron, 245 Locust Street, Akron, OH 44302.
