Elsie W. Badgett

Elsie W. Badgett, 76, of Colonial Manor, New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, September 21, 2004, in Union Hospital. Elsie was born in Masontown, Pennsylvania, March 7, 1928, to the late Chester C. and Thelma Duncan Johnson. Elsie came to Ohio when she was eleven years old. She has been a resident of Tuscarawas County since 1958. Survivors include two sons, Danny of Wadsworth, OH and Billy of Geneva, OH; a brother, Jene Johnson of Creston, OH; many friends, both residents and staff from Colonial Manor, and her dear friend, Dr. Ann Harper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Badgett, three sisters, a daughter and a brother. The Rev. Hugh B. Berry will lead a public graveside committal service Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at 9:30 AM in East Avenue Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Activity Fund at Colonial Manor, 441 University Drive NE, New Philadelphia OH 44663. Services are in care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory of New Philadelphia.
